Chev please stop the cope, siakam will never be as good as he was in 2019, he’s been stuck at a level for 4 years now, not only is scoot teh best player in this draft he’s also the best fit for the team and next to Scottie for the future. Everything screams match made in heaven. Even scoots camp acknowledged Toronto saying “scoot would definitely be open to going to Toronto knowing that he can be the lead guard and development better” then going to these bum ass lottery team where he won’t get consistent minutes
Idk if the raptors trade up or whatever they do on the draft I really don't care who they draft as long if it's not a player who we have to develop for awhile and becomes a bust
Raptors not trading anybody so its good. Even if the Raptors would trade for the #2 pick they would pick Brandon Miller over Scoot. But we dont have to go through that.
I say the Cason Wallace would be the best fit for the Raptors.

I think he’ll be special. The physical tools are all off the charts. But it’s the intangibles that separate him. Graduating high school early just to go pro in what was supposed to be his senior year of HS. Also being mentored by Steph Curry will go a long way.

Bro, Scoot is the real deal. I watched the Ignite game…son of ended with 28 points, 9 assists, 5 boards, and a couple steals in 31 minutes. I like his game and his personal mantra. O. D. D. I like the kid.

Scoot is extremely athletic. What I am having a hard time seeing is, if he is the Pg (not shooting the 3 well) and people still want Scottie as a Pg how does this work? They both shoot under 30% from 3. He is also 6’2 and depends on getting to the rim to score. Is he going to be able to do that right away if at all the same way he can in the g league?
I like Scottie better as a point forward anyways, so the people wanting Scoot how do you see this roster?
What I don't understand is how people think this guy is going to solve all the Raptors problems and then turn around in the same breath and say Pascal and Scottie doesn't work because they occupy the same space on the court when Scoot Henderson is basically Russel Westbrook 😂

Not only do we have to weigh whether it's worth moving our best player for Scoot Henderson, but even more fundamentally, as you suggest, whether he is even a good fit for the new direction in which Darko Rajakovic will take the team. Fortunately for the Raps, nobody in the business is better at understanding the essence of the person behind the numbers and the skills than Masai Ujiri!

You hit it with one word. Professionalism. Been a slow and steady drain of it. Even starting with DD, but SI, MG, and especially KL moving on has hurt. Team's lost some of that, we're all in it to win it. Agree Henderson seems more, bet on yourself. And I still love Dowtin, hope he grows into backup pg, all business, dog. Excited, hoping we draft 13, keep OG and Pascal

I think having scoot would be good for the raptors the offence gonna be a lot faster n the raptors would have more swag to there team a lineup of scoot, Gary, OG, Scottie, s&t Fred n Jakob for some young bench players the raptors could have a strong young core for the future, the current raptors squad has maxed out they can’t get any better with this current team it’s best to start young
OG you’re right about Scoot being a “diamond chain on a tailored suit” but the the draft is like New York and the other teams are like stick up kids waiting. If it’s for Fred, no problem. Anybody else… we good.
I’m usually pretty skeptical with the hype surrounding consensus top 3 picks. But I’ve never seen a prospect have an official “mentorship and strategic alliance” with a current NBA player like he has with Steph. When the greatest shooter of all time has an invested interest in your success that’s a solid cosign
You over thinking it he ain't gonna be like Fred, I seen him play the kid has a lot of energy and love for the game. I think he'd make a fine addition to any team, he suits our need for a talented guard. With this 13th pick we need a talented guard that can replace Fred if he decides to walk, not saying it gotta be Henderson but a guard that will fulfil our missing pieces on this roster
