Gonna side with Ric on this. When off the court problems, issues, drama, etc. starts to overshadow the players ability and skill on the court, then decisions have to be made. Unfortunately for Zion, he ain't been on the court enough to simply ignore or tolerate what comes up. I say keep him one more year, then decide from there because he is dangerously toeing the line between Joel Embiid and Derrick Rose.
Joel Embiid was similar the first 3-4 years of his career in PHI, mainly due to a bad back injury. Embiid wasn't as good as a player as Zion in college but had shown glimpses. Zion however has to decide if he wants to play basketball or be stupid….. and if its play basketball…. you need to get into shape to stay that way. Embiid weighed about 225-230 in college, and when he entered the league, he was at 280lbs..

I've never seen so many useless players in the NBA, and teams keep trading and paying them millions. Is Zion secretly getting in shape??? He already got his money, what is his motivation if he is getting paid to not play.
ACHO is 💯% Zion got to go end of story he's making way too much money to be not playing like that ridiculous he's always suited for college-level basketball as far as the amount of games are played. What Shady’s not understanding is that the injuries have always been the main talked about issue with Zion however because he’s not on the court any other negative elements are going to stack up. If Zion was on the court we wouldn’t talk about this but because he’s not more than 60% of the time it’s going to be added to the discussion.

His eating habits and workout habits aren't the problem. I know how those things COULD be a problem. But he got hurt when in shape TWICE. He's been hurt multiple times but being in shape in college and last year didn't stop him from getting hurt. Can't we just say he's injury prone? He's not the first.
