Wemby will be in our conference with the Spurs for the next decade+, we lost to Denver because Joker, AD is out 20-30 games a season..so my vote is definitely D Lively! Would love Podziemski, Andre Jackson if they fall to 47…or Ricky Council/Emoni Bates at 47.

I think this draft theres a lot of small guarda so i think Austin as a pg , lakers can keep loonie and draft a small guard . un tge first rouns and they can tarde for Dorian finney-smith.

I usually go best player available but for the Lakers situation I say go for fit
There's a lot of guys I could see being a nice pick up however, I think one of my favorites not mentioned is Maxwell Lewis. He 's the kind of player I'd love to put in the hands of Phil Handy to get the best version of him.
You should go best player available because we don't have a set roster for now. We need all positions as of right now, so fit will always be there.
You can't credibly guard MVP Jokic with a college freshman/sophomore aged dude like Lively. If you draft Lively, you're banking on future upside.
You want a chip, get KCP on your team.

Coulibaly or Hawkins I'll be thrilled with either one, I think Lakers will have a real shot at Hawkins at 17.
Bilal will absolutely not be there. I low key want him at 7 for my Pacers! He’s 6’7.5” still growing and his upside is elite! He’s going somewhere 7-12 prob imo. I could see spurs somehow trading up to pair him with Wemby. Don’t see him making it past Thunder/Raptors in late lottery.
No way in hell Cason Wallace (who I love as best defensive PG since Marcus Smart or Jrue Holiday) or Bilal fall to 17 but if either did you take them without a second of hesitation! Best case scenario imo Lakers leave 17 with Lively/Hawkins/HoodSchefino(you guys are underrating him I believe but I’m biased as it’s my alma mater but I like how upside and smoothness)/Kobe and even they may not all be there, but one may slip through! I’d honestly trade up to 17 and give you 29 with Buddy Hield if one of those 3 guys is there at 17!

The Lakers should seriously plan for the future NOW. LeBron and AD should move on by 2025. There is zero chance that the Lakers will win a championship with average pg like DLO, no wing and no center.
