The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad’s recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it’s rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

  1. You make some really great points here. But I disagree with one thing. To be fair, sustaining a season ending injury as an athlete IS failure.

  2. Jordan was overrated and pushed down people's throat cause he could with no one in the lane and he became nikes communist bitch and for Jordan to accomplish anything he needed Jackson, pippen, kerr, rodman, kukoc, ainge and a bunch of scrubs and overrated so called stars to play against since the savior's of the nba retired but getting to Jordans wizard years it and he was a failure cause he didn't have the help he did in Chicago

  3. It wasn't underrated. He showed flashes, but the love had left his eyes. He had lost his passion for the game even before this stint. Yes, it was a failure. They never sniffed the championship.

  4. Bloody hell these MJ stans find more excuses for MJ than Christians find excuses for the existence of god

  5. what a dumb assumption, some cherry picking stat, he was injured but still played 14 games so we don't count those 14 games? Jonny, you're better than that

  6. Good stats on a bad team and you take a specific 10-game stretch to compare to other stars

  7. You guys are my two favorite NBA channels for historical content. Love to see you guys debate on a subject of disagreement.

  8. Yeah this take is cool but mj chose to come back after 9/11 he didn’t have to come back he had nothing to prove sorry can’t fool watch the wizard games they sucked but mj was 38 39 still avg 20 stop mj had nothing to prove at this point.

  9. I hope all the young NBA content creators took notes on who not to come poke and make fun of!

  10. I loved Clayton GOAT series too but this video was really bad. I think a lot of people pointed it out to him in the comments with sound arguments and pointed all the logical fallacies of his arguments.

  11. I’m a Jordan fan, for Jonny his not an MJ fan but his a Kobe fan , and Kobe is the mini me off Jordan there for ❤ good content as always and MJ is underrated in the wizards years, what if they bring old school player and play for charity, and I’m talking about big players MJ, MJ , wilkens , Barkley, shaq, bird , AI, you know the rest

  12. I remember his tenure at Washington; the immediate thought that occurred to me was if he were just a LITTLE younger, not much, just a LITTLE, he would still be the preeminent player in the league. That's praise and bewildering.

  13. Finally an objective view. That 16-1 run right before Jordan's knee injury with Rip Hamilton just shows what they could've done in the playoffs.

  14. Old ass MJ played 82 games in his old age but these young bucks can't even complete a single season no wonder the league is too damn soft

  15. I mean , yeah .. but until someone make a similar video on LeBron's Lakers 2018-2019 , 2020-2021 , 2021-2022 , 2022-2023 seasons , I am not gonna be as lenient

  16. I saw the said Clayton Crowley video last year, and boy did that gave me a whole 180 degree on his videos. I agree that his videos prior to that MJ vid are usually on point, but his MJ one was utterly wrong that I had to comment why and decided to boycott his future videos. Kudos to your vid and setting the record straight!

Hope he sees this video and learn how to be objective, take things into context, and research more… Not everything is plain stats.

  17. I love you Johnny but comparing D-Rose's and KD's injuries to MJ's are quite a stretch.

Chicago (1 seed) and the Dubs (of course) had championship aspirations before they went doen witg their respectibe injuries during the playoffs. In KD's case, that was a sure ring hadnt he got hurt. As for Rose, his situations is like what happend to Giannis this year.

They had championships aspirations as favorites, the Wizards didnt.

MJ's is like LeBron's 2018-19 season. Bron's first year in LA was bugged by a lingering hammy injury and it definitely made them underachieve. But it wasnt like the Lakers would swoop in and win the comference.

With that, you can definitely label those season of theirs as failures because hey wasnt able to play the entire 82-game schedule and compete in the playoffs for a round or 2.

  18. so are you serious that they may come 45-37?Logic brother no disrespect but i dont think so

  19. I'm completely on your side and I'm subscribed to Clayton Crawley, I'm not sure if I want to stay subscribed now even as much as you encouraged your viewers to subscribe to him. If he can man up and admit he's wrong here, I'll give him another chance.

  20. I cringe so hard every time I see that MJ injury… I've been injured before because a clumsy teammate stood in my landing space. You know those guys that just don't have enough experience and don't know how to space their surroundings? That was Thomas. Such a what if… If only he hadn't stood there and got out of MJ's way. Lol

  21. Underrated, let me add I'm going to say something crazy. I believe MJ is overall underrated. It's going to be hard to find someone like that. One more youtubers are open for opinions. Everyone do not agree on everything. Downplaying others content subliminal or straight forward is wrong. Like me I don't believe LeBron is number 2. Two things Superteams and Conference Competition. The Man called Khwai Leonard who made a name from beating his superteam. That don't mean someone else is stupid cause they do not agree with me. I'm going to subscribed to Conley channel also. ❤

  22. And who would go and subscribe to someone who is nitpicking certain things to support their argument!!!!!!

  23. The fact there was an 17 differential in wins from the season before Jordan to the season with Mj, even with the injury, is pretty damn impressive.

  24. The only problem with this video is that you didn't give other players this treatment in your 30 Greatest of all Time video. You used Kobes last few years against his legacy, even though he had the same excuses Jordan is given in this video. While I agree that Jordan's Wizards years are underrated, I do think it's fair to give them the same treatment as Kobe's last few years, or any other all time greats twilight seasons

  25. So, the supposed Goat shooting below %45 and failing to make playoffs isnt a failure now. Wow. Goat standards really tend to get lower and lower when its about praising MJ lmao

  26. Jonny Arnett trying to convince us he’s not Jordan’s number 1 glazer
