This article is wrong, right? We can’t sign Draymond outright for 25 mil as a free agent.

You are mental if you think we want him. We have other holes to fill that are more important.

I don’t think that guy is taking into account our cap holds.

I personally would love to have Draymond. I think he unlocks AD of the offensive end and his high energy keeps Lakers in close games that we have been notorious for losing over the past few years. He’s a floor general that takes some pressure off of Lebron and plays winning basketball.

I think if you let D’lo, Beasley, Bamba and Harrison walk/not-guarantee their contracts. You can have LeBron, AD, Draymond, Reaves, Rui, Christie, 17th pick and the rest would be vet mins.

It’s like the Kyrie cap space situation but you get Draymond and keep Rui.

Draymond and RP is using the lakers to drive up the price from the Warriors, which is obviously his first choice.

Only way I see Draymond working out offensively would be if Lakers get Jordan Hawkins in the draft, then just try to copy Steph and Klay stuff with him and Dray.

Klutch is just using the Lakers to get the Dubs to re-sign Dray on a multi-year deal. Unless negotiations fail, Dray will stay a Warrior

People also need to realized we still have reaves and hachimura to resign in the summer, there’s no way the lakers go over the cap to sign a 33 year old that can’t shoot (which is smtg we desperately need looking back at the playoffs) , while letting go of those two young guys who might have a breakout year next year. Please just use your brains and think before saying something stupid.

Y’all so desperate to get a Golden State Warrior lol. How sad. Let me set it straight for y’all. He opted out to re-sign a 3 year deal with GS. Y’all will continue to get dominated by actual championship caliber teams because you’re giving a max contract to players like AR (a 13ppg, 3rpg, 3apg player with terrible defense)

I’ll say it til I’m blue in the face..Draymond is not a fit for what this laker team needs.

Hard pass. We didn’t even guard him during the playoffs.

Generally all these articles about us in the off seasons are some bullshit points, so are those basketball YouTubers. “Oh someone is a free agent, he is going to the Lakers” or ” Oh someone is available for trade, he is going to the Lakers”. Give me a break

Lakers don’t have actual cap space and everyone needs to stop acting like they do

Maybe bc I remember there was some scenario where we could afford kyrie if he would accept a big pay cut to like 30m but I think it involved letting everyone else except for reeves go including Rui.

We don’t need another pf/c that can’t shoot. Our team is just passing the fucking ball around to each other.

  16. Wooden-Image-4332

Lol he’s going to be a warrior until he retires. Plus he’d be garbage without Steph and klay

  17. Winter-Gur-9762

I highly doubt draymond would ever team up with Lebron ngl.

  18. SixGunChimp

Unless he wants next to nothing than the Dubs can keep Draymond.
