[Hollinger] If the Raptors are leaning into this roster, however, that would also imply that this pick might be in play for the right player. Packaging, say, Chris Boucher and this pick for a good guard has to be an interesting proposition for Toronto.

-Says the Raptors haven’t decided whether they’re coming or going (reporting)

-expects Fred back at 30 mil (though this was a guess vs reporting)

But with GTJ back and maybe Fred, why trade for another guard if you’re not starting him

lol im so done with the raptors if they do some dumb bs like this again. I will watch for scottie when he is playing but i cant be invested in this core.

When have we ever seen Masai blow up a team. He didn’t even blow up the nuggets when he traded Melo

    >13. Toronto — Keyonte George, 19, SG, Baylor
I’m not a big believer in George, but this is the name I’m hearing for Toronto. It should be noted that the Raptors have yet to officially decide if they’re coming or going, and little rumor sprinkles keep shaking out involving virtually everyone in Toronto, from Pascal Siakam to O.G. Anunoby to Dave Stieb. This is likely a continuation of the same fishing expedition we saw at the trade deadline, and at the end of it, I expect the Raptors to run it back with Fred VanVleet making $30 million a year or so and the team just a whisker below the tax apron.

Sounds like a trade idea he completely pulled out of his ass and he also doesn’t know anything about who Toronto will draft except that he saw a picture of Bobby checking out a Keyonte workout.

What “good guard” is even available? Even then, it feels like they’d rather stick to a rookie contract than take on some more salary.

I don’t mind running it back but I will lose my shit if they trade this pick.

  8. I legit won’t be watching till there’s real change made. A coaching change isn’t gonna make this team a finals contender. They made it very obvious last season they don’t care about winning they care about getting one single iota more money out of fans with more ticket sales. Even if it’s one single more shitty game that they lose in embarrassing fashion to another team 100 % blowing it up this offseason. Front office is a joke if this happens.
