Lin came along and showed what a true PG with a good outside shot, good court vision and penetration and basketball IQ can do. The Knicks Point Guards before had athleticism and could run and jump but didnt have certain PG qualities. The Knicks had finishers but no PG to get them the ball. Lin arrives and the Knicks make a complete turn around with team play and chemistry which shows what a team can do – not 1 on 1 play all game long o feeding 1 guy all game. 1 Hot player vs 5 guys sharing the ball will lose.

Two days later was the Miami Heat game where he played very poorly. I think a big reason was that he was injured in the chest. He bounced back after the All-Star game afterward.
