I CAN'T believe ESPN is paying Perkins to spout some garbage day after day. Paul to the Lakers?? And what happens when he & AD get injured at the same time, as is certain to happen? Chris Paul is always injured right around the playoffs. So what will Lebron do when it happens?
They keep saying rest him during the season. That doesn’t work. He still gets hurt. You have to be in shape to play the game. Load management doesn’t work!!!!
Now that my Clippers traded Morris to get Brogdon, we can either keep Russ (which I don't prefer) or trade Gordon + Covington for CP3. The salaries match up.
Lakers fans are pissed we only had to give up Morris for Brogdon like when we only gave up Bledsoe and Winslow to get Powell and RoCo. Gee, like the Lakers never got away with anything in their lives except rigged games to win championships or that bogus one getting Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown!
Do Lakers fans realize Clippers can get CP3 AND Brogdon? You do know that Brogdon came off the bench last year, right? Won 6MOY. Imagine him and Powell coming off the bench together? Clippers have the two best benchwarmers in the league.
Now if Lakers do get CP3, I'm fine with that. The guy is always injured. Not that Brogdon isn't hurt a lot himself. He certainly does and missed critical games in the playoffs just recently.
As for Paul George, IDK? He's too inefficient. Some fans wants to give this failed Kawhi-PG duo another chance. One last shot. But will they be healthy? Likely not again. And I don't like PG's inefficiency. One game, he shoots 60%. Next game, it's 4 for 16.
If I could get Scoot Henderson and Anfernee Simons for Paul George, I'd make that trade to Portland in a heartbeat. Clippers needs to get younger and play SMARTER. Paul George and Russell Westbrook play stupid basketball with the most careless turnovers.
I hear Kawhi is closer to CP3 than most of his Clipper teammates. That Kawhi prefers efficient players. Not guys throwing stupid interceptions to cost them possessions. Paul George and Russ don't fit that mold for high IQ players. They play dumb basketball that gets teams nowhere.
Clippers pretty much have to go with what they got. Even though Kawhi and PG have histories of injury and games missed unless you totally blowup the team and trade both of them you aren't going to get anybody better anyway. I would keep Westbrook if possible for less than a max salary. If I was CP3 I wouldn't go back to the Clippers, it usually doesn't work out to go back to an old team and all his former teammates and coaches are gone. He should try to latch on with the Lakers.
Westbrook should go back to the clippers he’s exactly what they need now that they have brogdon. Cp3 needs to go to the lakers cause I feel like cp3 can take ball responsibilities from Bron and get AD back to his 2020 self

Chris Paul to the kings for leadership role
Was CP3 ever the league MVP; scoring leader; defensive player of the year? He didn't accomplish everything but the title. Getting a title is a team effort that requires a lot of luck. CP has nothing but pride, and that's what he should feel about his entire career.
