  1. another hockey guy talking basketball why would the raps trade Trent and resign Freddie who want over 30million per year the same guy who shoot under 40% from the field and pylon on defense not a playmaker 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

  2. Did this clown really just say he'd rather have them keep and pay fred his 30 + million over jaks potentially 20 million? I must have miss heard him. Because that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard from the woke trash raptors media. His take is so bad he should never talk about basketball again, choosing an aging declining chucker over an actual center that we've been missing for years and suffering for it and traded a FRP for mind you. Would be one of biggest blunders in franchise history.

  3. Freddy V gone and wont be missed, but the Dinos will look bad if Poeltl walks and they gave up a 1st round pick………

  4. 1:45 that point makes no sense. Fred is worth 10-15 million more than Poeltl. If you ask me would I rather have Fred for 30M vs Jak for 18M, give me the latter easily

  5. Hands down would rather have Jacob over Fred. It's not just the player, it's also how much you pay. He's not worth the salary he's asking especially with his body being worn down. 30+ million for a point guard/shooter with 37% fg and 33% 3 point percentage?

  6. Van Vleet is older and more injury prone. Plus, way, way more replaceable (centers are hard to find).. Not to mention, Jakob Poeltl probably costs you about 10 million less per season. Fred was a ball hog at times and doesn't fit in with the new team, so it's not the worst idea to let Fred get his bag from a team that wants to give him a shot.

  7. It is amatuer to compare FVV vs. Jak and say Fred is the better player (and the moron who sits there and agrees with this pathetic comment is just as amatuer) – did you boobs actually watch the games, are too busy whining over how the Maple Leafs have upset you your entire lives? Ahh, to grow-up in whiteville PEI and then come to Toronto w/o a clue about sports – the dream has come true for you. FVV is one of the worst starting PG's in the NBA, his numbers are higher than Jak because he is the QB of the team. His field% and 3PT% went down last year, he is a defensive liability, injured too much, doesn't show-up for chunks of time (in-game…or a number of games stringed together), and has ZERO take over ability. he is a third option at best, not a guy to lead the PG spot. He is easily replaceable. Jak however, is a solid always can count on him, takes over periods of games when the team isn't scoring, and being from the (Pop-apprenticeship) is solid top 10 center in the league. Not much going on center wise to let him walk so easily. Aside from Gasol at the end of career, Hakeem too, the Raps have always struggle to get a legit center. Last good one, was undersized Antonio Davis – 20 years ago. Now you have one – 20 million is a steal. Jak is worth it, with Scottie (distributing the ball), OG on the other side and new offensive coach – that front court it's exciting to think about! You want FVV so bad, walk away from Boucher, Young – there's 30 million.

  8. All you’re saying is we need to go in to the luxury tax. I don’t know why we don’t this team makes more than enough money.

  9. What you guys are understanding is how good Fred Vanvleet is you guys to understand because you’re casual raptor fans Fred is really good. Teams want him because he’s really hard to play against. I don’t understand how the Fanbase doesn’t want him back.
