[Singer] With Bruce Brown declining his $6.8 million player option, as was expected, I’m told the Nuggets intend on offering him the $7.8 million for next season — the most they can. Brown could sign a 1+1 in Denver if he chooses to stay.

So long our sweet cowboy prince. Hard to see him accepting it or his agent letting him accept that when he sees what other teams will offer.

Inevitable and we can’t blame him.

Who would we be able to bring in as a replacement? I don’t think we can solely rely on improvements from Watson and Braun.

Is there any hope for an under the table deal to be made? Not sure how common that practice is, and to promise him a larger contract when they can offer him more money

He could *easily* make double that with another team so I’m prepared for him to leave but damn do I hope Malone and Kroenke have a perfect pitch for him to stay

    Thank you for your service

Second Apron gonna hinder a lot of contenders in signing him, I doubt the spurs would want to sign him, I think the trailblazers are a team to worry about

Is that all we can offer based on cap room?

Guys, he can still sign here. Just because he declined his option does not mean he’s gone. The Nuggets can still offer him a deal in the 20 mil range. I think Bruce will be back

One thing that hasn’t really been brought up is his friendship with KCP. He may stay but if not I will miss him

Even the early bird rights contract we can offer him next year is less than what he will prob get this year.

Around 60mill over 4 years, vs what… at least 80mill?

Officially he lost the Mr Nugget stakes, but really he was as nuggetsy as any Mr Nugget.

    Co Mr Nugget Bruce Brown

I heard from a league source that he decided on staying once he found out Reddit was going to crown him Mr. Nugget.
