Watching this video and observing the careful attention to detail throughout the evaluation and interview process makes me respect the Raptors organization even more. Notwithstanding the mainstream media and other pundits whose incessant whining and complaining about having zero visibility into what the Raptors were looking for in a new coach, the Raptors had a plan and they stuck to it. Far from being rudderless and not knowing what they were doing, this was a thoughtful, rigorous process to evaluate the best fit for the role. I'm encouraged about our future. It clearly showed how misinformed the mainstream media is, and how dismissive they are of the leadership of Masai, Bobby, and the rest of the organization to get this right. Kudos to the Raptors staff, top to bottom. #WeTheNorth!
Darko entering the Dwayne Case Arc. Rebuild the foundation with the existing culture we have but he might not be the one to help us win it all when that foundation is completed again.
The fact that he let himself into the SUV before the driver could make it around the vehicle to open the door for him, says quite a bit to me. I hope he keeps that down to earth way about him. Can't wait for the season to get going. Good luck coach. And shout out to Nick Nurse as well. You brought us our first ever championship and I for one appreciate all that you did. Sometimes a change of voice is needed is all. Good luck in Phily.
New Coach, New Start, New Season, I think we as a fanbase should also not forget who Masai and Bobby are. Seasoned fans know how good Masai is and how grateful we should be to have him. I would be terrribly jealous if i saw him leading another organization. We have a lot to look forward too!
