He gives them more offense, but do you start him over Williams (who protects the rim) or over Al Horford, who stretches the floor and helps guard bigs in the post?
Great win for the Clippers…Morris was phased out of their rotation last year and they get a 40% 3 point shooting PG and if it is true that they are going to bring Russ back thats a huge change to their back court. Russ with Brogdan playing 20-25 mins a game off the bench you get the energy rebounding and hustle of Russ half the game and the elite playmaking and shooting of brogdan and lack of turnovers the other half. Solid Solid move.
Will also allow them to look at potentially moving Terrance Mann or Bones Hyland along with maybe Batum and a pick or 2 to see if they can go get Finney Smith or a player like that to slot in at 4.
For Boston if they can keep Grant Williams and Bring Timelord off the bench behind Porzingis this is HUGE for them as well. You will always have an elite shot blocker on the court with Porzingis in you will have great spacing really great trade for everyone except the Wizards as they didnt really get picks to help a rebuild but did get off that salary which i guess is a win.
Malika looks nervous around JJ.
Going way out on a limb, he'll miss half the season with injuries and average about 18 points for about 20 games and less than 9 points for about 20 games and have no effect on the Celtics season.
He aint even gonna make it through the season.
Why ppl hating on the Porzingis to the Celtics I kinda like that move honestly a underrated move and pick up he can still average 20-25 pts a night easily

Boston probably could win if they would get rid of the flop king Smart.
So what’s the plan next year, do you pay JB 50 mil a season, resign porzingis to 40 mil a year. A big three of JB, Tatum and porzingis eating up 130 mil of your cap. Round off the starting 5 with smart and white at 18 mil each. That’s about 165 mil starting rotation. They still have to pay rob (12 mil)and horford (10 mil). This team is going to balloon to highest nba payroll b next year. They won’t be able to retain guys like grant or Pritchard. Just developing guys to make other teams better.
