DKM, Im considering contracts for Rozier and Hayward. Adding Scoot will allow the Hornets to cap out on a starting 2, less on the payroll, and therefore more of a bag to throw at a depth piece.
You can make the same claim about Miller and Hayward. Miller allows the Hornets to clean up the 3 and bag bench depth.
So its a win either way.
Melo and Scoot can coexist like Melo and Terry. Both players like the rock and they both like to shoot the rock. Scoot is a massive upgrade because of his playmaking.
You dont think Melo would like someone to finally find him when he runs the break. Nobody has been diming Melo up for easy buckets. Ans we know Melo plays fast like that.
If he and Scoot are finding each other, they'll be over the moon playong together. Melo loves to chuck up shots off ball.
I do hope they take Miller, he's more refined as a scorer, and hell defend better long term.

his whole point of scoot bieng unproven is even more relevant to miller who only started to play at second pick level way later down the line and even wasn’t has good in his first workout think about it he hasn’t been at all consistently playing at second pick level now he shows some talent and ends up has the second pick over the clearly more consistent player this reminds me of luka and trae young while i believe just like does 2 you can’t go wrong with either one of the 2 was clearly the more consistently good player and kept that consistently but the other one showed up around the end and gets pushed by the media has the better pick. Also trae is obisvouisly better than Brandon and played high level basketball more consistently in his pre draft year than milller for the bums that think that I’m saying milllers more talented than trae. Also I find it abusard that someone that hasn’t played high level basketball consistently is now bieng said to be the next George Paul. Also scoot was playing amazing with grown man Brandon couldn’t play high level consistently with college kids. I rest my case

Brandon Miller is actually the one that plays remarkably similar to melo. In no way does scoots game mirror melos other than there position on paper and in todays NBA it doesn’t matter. Scoots ceiling is way higher and has that all-time great potential and you have to take a chance on that.
