Firing IME led to hiring Joe,, who clearly scared to have Smart come off the bench,, which LED to this trade!… Brad clearly realize he made BIG MISTAKE by firing Udoka and now has to overcompensate by trying stack as much talent as possible to hopefully offset the LACK OF IDENTITY 🤦🏿♂️

I hate we lose Smart, but you can’t say we didn’t get better
Let’s be honest you had to trade someone. Everyone saying it should’ve been JB doesn’t realize JB can still get significantly better each year for the next 5 years and if him and JT want it bad enough they SHOULD (key word) win at least 2 rings in the next 5 years together. Especially with KP, D White I’m his prime, and if Gallo is even 75% of what he was before coming off the bench.
Lose one heart and soul, now it’s time to sign Bruce Brown. Born and raised in Dorchester and is a die hard Bostonian. I bet he will play his heart out for the Celtics and he was huge for the nuggets off the bench in the finals

The real question is, will Marcus keep his hair green? I hope he does. Keep rockin it steady and consistent.
The Celtics had a crowded backcourt and to break-up the logjam someone had to go. KP is a superior option at the 5, than an aging Al Horford and an injury prone Robert Williams.

Celtics get so much better. They dumped smart, it will help not having him miss 10 shoots a game he should not have taken. He really thinks he is so much better then he really is hopefully getting him off the team helps the culture of the team.
Love me some Marcus Smart but how many parades did he lead us to? It was time to move on..

I think people are forgetting that we have J.D. He has grit and did well in the summer league and for the Maine celtics. Watch for him to e elevated to the main roster.

I don’t like Marcus Smart being in THIS Trade, but he needed to be moved. Tatum and Brown can now be The Sole Leaders of This Team. But, I think ANOTHER, BIG TRADE IS COMING! Stay Tuned…

To trade to heart and soul of your team for 7’5 girly man is very upsetting. A majority of WNBA players are tougher than Porzingis.
I’ve been a fan since 2005, this trade has me messed up more than any others. I can’t believe this happened! If we don’t win a championship, it’s going to feel like the worst trade ever! I am too emotional right now to be logical. Who is going to be the “voice of reason, passion and assurance?”
