Tatum said to Doris Burke that Smart is his favourite player to play with on the team, that’s incredibly high praise from our top player.
In the mic-ed up moments of games you can see just how vocal Smart is, telling our guys where to be and helping them get to their spots, especially on defense. Even Ime acknowledged just how much help Smart was to the team.

This team was regularly criticized for not showing heart this last playoff run.
I’m not sure what happens when you trade the heart of a heartless team, but we’re gonna find out, I just hope we can get an honest assessment out of the team post Marcus and not put asterisks on any assessment due to injuries.
