The Denver Nuggets are trading 2024 first-round pick and 2023 40th pick to the Indiana Pacers for No. 29 and 32 on Thursday, sources tell ESPN. As the Nuggets prepare for possibility of losing Bruce Brown in free agency, they’ll be drafting at No. 29, 32 and 37 on Thursday with a chance to keep gathering up young role players for this championship window. GM Calvin Booth picked Christian Braun at No. 21 last year. — ESPN

Nuggets smart
During the Finals the Nuggets traded a 2029 1st round pick to OKC for a 2024 1st round pick and #37 in the 2nd round this year.
This is now trading that OKC 2024 1st round pick(their worst, and we can't trade our actual 2024 1st round pick due to rules) for this year's 1st round 29th pick and this year's 32 pick in the 2nd round…
So Calvin Booth traded a 2029 1st round draft pick for this year's 29, 32 and 37 picks. That's just nuts, Calvin Booth for Executive of the Year already especially if they work out a $7.8m 1+1 deal in a couple weeks in free agency.
This also means there is little to no pressure on the young guys to overstretch themselves, Braun just focused on his key trait defense and the rest fell into place as a rookie. The Nuggets getting a G League team is going to help so much with 3× 2 way roster spots to develop young guys to come up and play late in the season to coast into the playoffs. Nuggets are officially a next level franchise, as long as they finally get a practice facility and get out of their flooding gym.(Side note, they could go Euro like Kamagate currently is and let them develop)
Kris Murray Kobe brown
Very high IQ GM move from Booth here. I wouldn't be suprised if they take any of those 3 picks and package them to move up even more if they really are targeting someone specifically.
I could see the Nuggets going after Trayce Jackson Davis or Kris Murray or Jalen Wilson or Jaime Jaquez or M. Sasser.
Whoever makes these bogus decisions at Pacers office is really really dumb😮 they just got Nuggeted
If they keep all three then I want: Colby Jones, Andre Jackson Jr, and Jordan Walsh
As a Pacers fan, underwhelmed. I understand the Pacers didn't want to draft 5 players, so they had to move some of this years assets to the future. But the pick is going to be around the mid 20s range. OKC is going to make a leap this year, like Sacramento did last year and the pick wont be much better than this years 29. I was hoping they'd trade the 29 and 32, along with some players, for upgrades at the 3 or 4 for next years roster. Pacers aren't done making moves though.
