Running it back?! WHY!!!! We sucked last year and now we have to watch that again? We are in no way a championship contender let alone a playoff team.
We need to pivot towards a rebuild otherwise we will leave ourself in a horrible spot. No one wants to play here so we have no free agents coming and we cant afford them anyways.
Bring in a young star like scoot at any costs. We do not get chances like this ever. The kid has superstar potential. Pascal has proven he is a regular season star but is a second option at best in the playoffs.
All I know is if the raptors reach and pick Miller at 13 I’m going to be pissed! Sure he’s from Toronto but there’s better players we can grab at 13.
The question is why so much of the fan base is against "running it back"? Yes, with the new coaching staff, the team should be less likely to underachieve but as Vivek Jacob keeps pointing out, this roster doesn't work as constructed, and has no clear way forward. You are right that a trade tonight is unlikely. Hopefully we will add a one or two guard with pick 13. Perhaps there will be less resistance to running it back without Fred Van Fleet but really the only thing fans want is a transition from a Fred & Pascal-centred team that has won exactly two playoff games ever, to a Scotty Barnes centred team. Can that happen "running it back" with a better head coach? Masai and Bobby would have to sell that to the fan base.
The thing no one is talking about is that if we trade Pascal that means we are more likely to loose yak which also depends on who we trafe Pascal to get
Most of the problems last year because of coaching the talent is there we need shooting shooting shooting and we could be good

All banking on Barnes,who im not thinking is anything but average. Sure not gonna play p.g. and handle the ball. To many guys on the pine,that arent nba players! All the talk about FVV being a chucker,you dont think that was NN plain? If not he could have pulled him. After a tough start,he still avg 20,ok trade him,whos youre ball handler? Who gives the team the 20/7/5 ? The 13 pick? Not! 3 years on SB isnt improving at above average! Get a bench so guys aren't avg.40+ min a night! Sorry thats on Massi!
