Portland would be pretty stupid to constantly rebuild. Just push all the chips in, the worst to happen is they rebuild later on.
Front office is a mess. If they REALLY wanted to trade the 3 for help for Dame, and it's so crazy valuable, you are telling me no other team has offered anything? So no other team views the 3rd pick highly enough to go for it? Seems off.
The night will end with the Blazers primed to do battle in the NBA with two young starts joining Dame in an offensive juggernaut the league won't be able to handle. It's going to be the best.
There is no “Win Now” with this team against the true contenders without a dominant front court to counter the contending opposition. Zion can get them there and is worth the risk.

Dame can’t be traded til July 9th. Blazers have no real trade assets outside of the pick and simons and reports say Pascal is hesitant to commit long term to Portland which makes sense considering blazers are not a contender even with siakam. Blazers should just move on. Y’all are not winning and would be stupid to trade the high pick for a rental.
