Fellow designer: absolute W poster all around. You should be proud.
I can tell just by looking at this poster that you have a very strong grasp of fundamental and some advanced design principles. Most designers trick themselves into thinking they do, but you actually do. Love the concept and color scheme you got going on here. Especially the use of the red halo. Since its a bit warmer of a tone compared to the blue/green/white it stands out from everything else but it’s not jarring since you only use it once. Viewer’s attention is focused on the face immediately. Really good use of hierarchy there.
I only have three suggestions but they’re personal so take em with a grain of salt: first is that the gradient you have from blue to white is a bit too abrupt for me (best way i can describe it). Maybe smooth it out a little bit and make it more gradual? Also the description you have typed out in the rectangular frame, maybe compile a ton of quotes from NBA players and coaches and type them out the same way you have the description? Also I see what you’re doing with the P5 and Nike logos but since they have a very similar stroke size it clashes. Instead I think it would be cool if you made P5 bigger, increased the font size of “PAOLO BANCHERO” on the bottom by 12 and threw the P5 insignia behind it.
Overall great job. 9.8/10 for me

Really awesome. What was the inspiration for the foliage? I think it matches his style if you ever watch his IG stories. Hope you stick around because the Magic community could use some good designers.
