  1. its good for the grizz and celtics that perk isnt about it. but "GUESS WHAT", when it "COMES DOWN TO IT" perk only has 2 non-sequiturs in his arsenal.

  2. Perkins takes seem to be more about the color of the players skin, thean the actual ability of the players. The celtics need a big man. This small ball system dont work for every team. At least when it comes time for the playoffs. I really hope chris paul gets a ring. Father time been knocking. Pretty soon hes gonna be demanding.

  3. Clippers WORST ORGANIZATION Marcus Morris Sr not trading for Malcolm Brogdon injury issue Kawhi &, PG effect 🤣😂😅😂

  4. I’m actually with perk I don’t understand this trade but I guess it was the Malcolm thing and guess make jaylen more of a James harden role point guard

  5. Porzingus is a great pickup for Boston but they’re not going to be able to re-sign Grant Williams. They got 25th and next years GS FRP for Smart but those are late picks. Brogdons injury might require surgery which means he might miss time. Honestly their perimeter defense is going to take a big hit.

  6. I understand what Perk is saying as far as Smarts leadership. But one important part that he's overlooking is the emergence of Derrick White. He was the Celtics 3rd best player last year. Even over Smart. He was playing really solid both offensively and defensively. It sucks to see Smart go, but I like the trade.

  7. This must be the benefit of being the President of the Player's Association. Going to the Warriors on your way out.

  8. Marcus might not be the better player but is more valuable to the Celtics let’s hope kristaps doesn’t come in here and try to kyrie this team and hope he stays in his place and humbly does his job to win a championship cuz what he did in Dallas was so sad

  9. Is Porzingus a better player than Smart? Yes, yes he is. Does he fulfill the need for a quality starting big? Yes. Did the C's get 2 first round picks AND a starting player for Smart? Yes
Did Marcus (great Celtic that he is) create a team dynamic problem with the Js and the coach? Yes, he did. Mr. Smart wasn't good enough to be lead dog, but he insisted he was.
This was a great trade for Boston and Memphis.

  10. Tyus and Jordan not having to look over their shoulders in Washington is going to be a problem

  11. the wizards chose the worst time to start tanking and rebuilding lol. They shoulda tried the Wemby sweepstakes

  12. 3:25FALSE!!!… The Boston Celtics did NOT have the most complete roster in the league.
First of all, the Denver Nuggets hold that honor
…and second of all, the Celtics really lacked interior offensive firepower. Who was their biggest threat around the paint? Al Horford!?… seriously? They desperately needed a player that could give them scoring on/around the painted area
White will replace Smart at PG and Porzingus will start at PF and Williams will come off the bench and automatically be a defensive threat

  13. Porzingis hasn't had multiple seasons of playing 60+ games since his rookie and sophomore year. Big gamble by Boston, but that being said could be worth it since he's in a contract year.

  14. cetics did all those work to try to get to the finals again. good luck I dont see them going back till tatum/brown level up, those two players were the only issue + mazzulla making them brick 3s

  15. I’m not gonna lie, they got a guy who averaged 23 & 8 w/2 blks & all they gave up was a guard in a loaded backcourt. It was really great value. Plus, they can finally play 5 out

  16. The only time the Celtics played bad on defense is when they stunk it up on offense with turnovers and iso possessions. Smart was the heart and soul but that only got the Celtics to 1 finals and a number of conference finals. It was time to end the mediocrity and move in a new direction at point guard.

  17. WOW! Memphis got a lot better with this deal. They have the current Def POY in Jaren Jackson Jr.. They get Smart who was the Def POY a couple years ago. and if they get Adams back and healthy they are going to be stout on defense!! Given all the offensive fire power in the West, should be interesting…

  18. This trade is way better for the Grizzlies than the Celtics. Pairing Smart with Jackson Jr. gives you two DPOY players in the same line-up. Once Ja gets back, they could be serious contenders.

  19. Perk in 4 months when they got a winning record: they gonna win it all I told y’all this trade was good

  20. Celtics didn’t want my Clippers to get Malcolm b smh if we got him and he stayed healthy I promise we would’ve win it all

  21. Now they just need to trade old man Al at the deadline. Guaranteed chip Masai style.

  22. Boston got 2 1st round draft picks they can use to rebuild if Porzingis/Tatum/Brown doesn't work.

  23. kendrick perkins doesnt like the grizzlies is the real title

  24. This seems like a true win-win-win trade. Well done all, although I think the Celts had the biggest win here (re-balance team plus draft picks).
