Wait whatttt. I’ll trust the front office but dang I wanted Cam.

If you’re starting a rebuild picking in the middle of the lottery, you might as well take the raw athletic freak with arguably the highest ceiling in the draft class.

    > Sources: Indiana is selecting Jarace Walker at No. 8 via Wizards in this 7-for-8 flip. Washington also sends two second-round picks to Pacers to move up for Coulibaly.

    > Wizards will send one of the six (!) future second-round picks they’re getting from Phoenix and one of their own future seconds to the Pacers to move up to take Coulibaly, per league source.

VERY good trade. Perfect use of second round picks.

The Wizards take wing Bilal Coulibaly with the 7th pick (traded up with Pacers):

*vaulted up draft boards late after thriving in playoffs as Victor Wembanyama’s teammate
*super athletic: 6-foot-6 with 7-foot-3 wingspan
    *excellent on/off ball defender
    *raw offensive skillset

  6. Trust in DAWKINS, need to watch more Bilal film

This seems good to me, but does anyone know what second rounders we gave Indiana?

  8. Curious-Cupcake7586

Sheesh this front office just keeps making trades

This is such a good move. Guy with astronomical upside is a great swing at number seven. We have plenty of minutes for him to play too.

  10. ap_2975

There was no need to trade up. Indiana wasn’t gonna take coulibaly

I don’t know about the pick… but the trade up ?!? What is the fucking point

All of the air drained out of the front office not taking Cam there

  13. Dreamlion_Inc

I did NOT have this on my Bingo card

Bro…..WHY. Felt like their were multiple players better than him. Hope I’m wrong but I leave another draft dissapointed.

  15. I like this pick, two seconds seems too high to move up one spot, but they’re just seconds and we got six of them from Phoenix.

  16. None of us expected this pick. BUT I have complete trust in this front office

Consider this. Have any of us proved ourselves worthy of a front office job in the NBA? Even the best GM’s who work on this all year get picks wrong. Nobody can judge any move made tonight until these guys start playing. All we can do is trust the new GM and hope and pray

I dont believe in you at all Bilal but prove me wrong
