How to Finish at the Rim Like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

SGA is one of the more creative players I’ve ever seen around the rim. It’s an impressive balance of physicality, finesse, speed, and patience that is fun to watch, but also very practical for many hoopers of all sizes. Of course, I’m not suggesting you’ll get to this level… but you can for sure take some of these techniques and apply them into your own toolbox!

  1. Been waiting for a vid like this he is killing in the paint even when he isn’t super athletic or huge

  2. notice how he doesnt hook his defender on the spin, me being small I often do that so I can get him behind me(its a foul), he has a lot of self control.

  3. Can you make a video on how to score against zone? We, high school students, normally face 2-3 zone defense. This video would be extremely helpful because I can't see a video on YouTube that focuses on how to individually score against zone.

  5. I am so appreciative of this channel. I have been watching by any means since my sophomore season and I just recently graduated and I want to say that all of your videos have helped me become a much harder worker, a better player, and you have helped me appreciate the game more. Keep inspiring!
