Excellent pick! The Lakers got a absolute steal. You could pair him up with Austin Reeves in a few years post lebron era and it could be exceptional..he will need 2 years to develop

Hoosier alum here and this kid has NICE upside. Very smooth, plays at a great pace, played on team with 2 good players really and IU a top10-20 team alot of the yr. Go watch his highlights @ 1 seed Purdue. His game/demeanor/size/pace/grit makes it very doubtful he busts. I like him better then Jarace Walker who my Pacers took at 7 (wanted Hendricks Whitmore Bilal JHS or Cason there).
I get wanting Whitmore there if Lakers fan (I’m pacers fan of 40 years and Bron fan along with Jokic MJ Hakeem Bird Isiah 😅 and want him as option at 7 too, but clearly medicals bad, + horrid assist/TO ratio with more then double amount of TO as assists, small hands, always goes left but still great athlete & upside), but JHS at 17 when he could of gone 7-14 pretty easily is very good value!

We don’t need another guard, we need a center so Ad can go to his natural position.
