Im a lifelong UConn fan, follower of Jordan’s career since high school.
So, he’s more than just an elite movement shooter, he just happened to play that role in Hurley’s offense. In college the best shot is almost always the 3 with the line. He’s a twitchy tough athlete who happens to be an elite volume movement shooter. Ala Ray Allen.
Coming out of high school before transferring to DeMatha he played public league, and destroyed shit, and was seen as a tough raw athlete. https://youtu.be/7hs36P_NuT0 He refined his game when he transferred to DeMatha to be more like Kobe. https://youtu.be/Qpuz86RSziE https://youtu.be/Gi35JI3-l2c they won the high school national championship his first year. Then he goes on to college to win another national championship, playing a different style, fulfilling a role! No freedom. https://youtu.be/myEJMpVZ6E4
I believe the real Jordan Hawkins is more like his high school tape where he had more freedom.
If he can help you get a ring he will have a high school, college and NBA rings 👀 How many players can say that?

I think he’ll have more success at the rim in the league than in college. The bigs he played with didn’t help give him space to operate. He still needs to add some muscle to take contact better. Still too light for any kind of consistency at the rim.
Biggest thing for him is improving his defense. He has the tools to be a lot better than what she’s shown but he’s gotta work on that side of the floor to be more than a role player.
only a few cuz the great ones skip college
You say that like more was needed to sell me on him. A shooter but also one the defense needs to always charge around the court?? JJ Reddick back but not 50 years old?? I’m sold
Everything else is lagniappe
