[Wojnarowski] Kentucky forward Jacob Toppin has agreed on a two-way contract with the New York Knicks, sources tell ESPN. He’s the younger brother of Obi.

Imagine if they trade Obi now lmao
From trading Obi to Rostering his family 😅😅
So Obi is staying at least one more year?
Toppin Brothers > Thompson Twins
Hell yeah let’s fucking go
(I had no idea Obi had a brother)
This is kinda… weird.
This is going to be interesting… Can he even hoop? Or is this another JR Smith’s brother situation lol
Jacob gonna get more minutes than Obi
This seems like a good and relatively cheap way to give Obi some confidence, which I think he really needs more of to play his best.
Interesting…
Oof! Flashbacks to that JR Smith’s brother signing.
At least JR Smith was a good player when we signed his younger brother.
Seems the Obi stuff was a bunch of smoke and mirrors
he sucks worse than obi lol
So he’s obviously not the talent his brother was considering Obi was national player of the year
BUT, he has more guard skills and able to play the wing. Solid length and athleticism. If he can improve his 3 ball he might actually get more minutes than his brother
So we still have a thing for Kentucky boys? Thought that was a 2020 thing
You’ve seen the Antetokounmpo brothers, now get ready for the Toppin brothers!
I think Leon did this for his son (who are the Toppin brothers agents) more than helping Obi out.
Jacob Toppin is actually pretty good for an undrafted player. This is a good pickup.
He started this season off slow his first 10 games and then had really good stats in his last 21 games… and he’s athletic like Obi. NBA coaching will make him a decent player
Averaged 14/7/3 on nearly 50/40/90 in that 21 game stretch.
Alright bro this shit is ridiculous. Trade Obi or trade Randle, just stop this shit lol.
