This shit had me bout ready to breakdown. That was my favorite player and if you saw the reports yesterday he’s pretty crushed himself. I don’t know I’m just wondering where our defensive identity is going to come from. It’s like Brad looked at the nuggets in the finals and just said oh we need a big European guy we’ll get a Walmart version of that. But don’t worry we’ll also get some draft picks. Which we will then Bill belichick style trade back and get”good value”and eventually walk away with the 18-year-old Nigerian that took two jump shots last year is extremely raw and you will never see him again mark my words. I’m old probably older than a lot of people in this sub I’ve been watching the Celtics since Larry Bird was playing.And Im not saying porzingis is a scrub but he’s not exactly defensive minded. And and Marcus was he was the guy that turned our whole season around the year before when he had to literally fight jaylen Brown to put him in line. That’s what you call a leader a general I don’t know who it’s going to be that guy now. I’m not saying it can’t work I’m just saying I’m a bit doubtful that this is the answer. Anyway I apologize for ranting. Trust me there’s nothing I would love to come back to this a year from now and say I’m glad I was wrong cuz that’s all that matters to me is a lifelong fan of this team is just a win but only time will tell I guess?
