  1. I get the sense that Coulabali was our guy going into the draft. Was shocked he went before our pick. I like our picks, hope these guys pan out.

  2. Jazz draft. Hendrix at 9. A. GEORGE at 16. B- or C+. Brice at 28. C or C+. Overall B or B-. Man I wish we would have Gambled on Whitmore and taken L.Miller at 28 or even GG. If Hendrix hits. This is a Win for this Draft.

  3. A- Jazz got 3 players who 1. Can shoot 2. Physically show they have the tools to defend 3. Athleticism and length and their positions 4. Intangibles are there. Those are all potential playoff role players. I only worry that we might regret passing on whitmore but we will see

  4. Love the Taylor Hendricks pick. The jazz have length, athleticism, shooting and defensive in the front court. They might have the best overall front court in the NBA.

Not a big fan of Keyonte George. Too small. Would have preferred JHS if they wanted to go guard.

And Brice Sensabaugh is meh….he can shoot at all the 3 levels but is fat, slow, and short.

As long as Taylor Hendricks pans out, the Jazz did great

One other point. Keyonte George and Brice Sensabaugh did not measure at the combine. Two of the only players who didn't measure

  5. Oh I think Taylor Hendricks has room to get plenty better. Highly-skilled nineteen-year-old who's talent is just emerging….

  6. Part of the excitement of the draft is the unknown. The Jazz front office puts in the time to evaluate as best as possible. Summer league should be a lot of fun this year. Go Jazz

  7. I cant wait to see Taylor, Lauri and Walker together in court. Id love if in FA Jazz would sign Bruce Brown

  8. Just because the strength of the draft was guards at 16 I think the front office had it in their mind to take a point guard there. Slightly disappointed to see Whitmore fall past us, but Keyonte will get tons of development with our system, and I'm excited to watch him grow.

  9. Great takes! I dont know how good George or Sensabaugh will be in the nba but i still think Jazz a huge hole in the "facilitate" area. Not Sexton nor George is an answer to that.

  10. Short-term grade: B-
Good players, but no home runs and limited immediate impact. Also, didn't aggressively go grab someone who was perceived as being better.

    Long-term grade: A
Preserved future assets and took three freshmen. Brice Sensabaugh has bad knees, so hopefully they patiently get his body right so his career is extended.

  11. The argument is the jazz could have traded up for players over looked like the twins or scoot.
Those are guards with athleticism. The twins arenā€™t proven against nba talent but scoot is and did well. All three need to work on shooting and becoming more efficient but the talent is there. They will contribute at the next level.

No need to give away the farm. Jazz couldā€™ve picked up the mavs pick. Mavs moving bertans wasnā€™t a surprise but they gambled and got their guy plus another pick and dumped a bad contract.
I think they would have done that deal for 16th ā€¦. Maybe šŸ¤”

Jazz couldā€™ve used or traded bertans or starched him.

Gut says they have someone lined up in free agency. Jazz havenā€™t been super aggressive which tells me they have other targets.
Kp would have been a fun šŸ¤© get! Cheap and Kp played many games at a high level last year.
Could have made jazz super big with talent too

  12. Great Analysis, especially about George. He was injured the last part of his season, but you can see in the combine he shoots great and has a very good handle, can change speeds, is clever, and has high potential if he can learn how to play a little bit of point guard.

  13. Love all three of our picks. Nice development arcs for all three guys that could make each really good players

  14. I don't know anything about any of them so I give them a incomplete
