You can't build a championship team in 1 or 2 seasons. It's just not possible and was never going to happen and we need to realize that. I love Dame he's my favorite player, but we failed him.
I feel They did a really good job in adding talent, with their 3 picks, but I'm not sure the team got better.
I'm more bothered that they seem to have an aversion to adding size.
The biggest questions on my mind are 1.Should Portland hold off on an Anfernee Simons trade till the mid-season deadline or even next offseason? Would doing so make Ant a more desirable trade target for other teams. Especially if he keeps improving? Would playing Ant next season give Scoot Henderson time to adjust to his future role as an NBA starter/star?
2. What to do with Jerami Grant? I feel he's a very good player who can help any team be better, but I don't think he's a must keep at all costs player. I think Portland would have $20Million in cap space if they don't resign Grant. It's not that I don't think that they can't find good talent for $20Million. It's that I'm not sure if that talent would chose Portland.

As inciteful as this video is. This all boils down to if Jodi will spend or not. Whether we traded Scoot or not. Unless Jodi is willing to spend what's needed it's a moot point in my opinion.

I am a loyal blazer fan…. When I look at our line up I see a void at the 4. grant is a three in most lineups is DrewEu our starting 4? Murray is not a 4…. Really is a 2…..like Reddish. If I could ask Cronin a question I would ask him how we compete with such a shallow front court?
Dame is my guy. He’s been rewarded with contracts, the love from the PNW and going after players like Norm Powell/Covington amongst others..
Scoot Henderson IS the big swing, the reward for the tanking the past two years. The Blazers got very lucky.
Joe has a job to do as GM. Building the Roster by draft is the only way to do it in small market. All the winning teams made the blue print. Golden state draft. Nuggets draft. Celtics draft. Toronto draft. Miami draft.
This will go down as the blazer's best Draft behind drafting Dame. Scoot and murray will Be on the rafters

Our 2 and 3 picks are redundant to Thybulle and Reddish…….Leonard Williams was still available which would have a good follow up with his ignite teammate. It is sad we did not do better. I was a Cronin fan but I feel let down.
Everyone’s miffed about the lack of direction for the team, but forgets what the ownership directed management to do with the 2019 WCF team. Why should they build with a 33 y/o Lillard when they disrespected a 28 y/o Lillard in his prime? They’re just using him to fill seats. Money over Results.

Dame will NOT be a Blazer on July 7th two weeks from now. Free Agency start June 30th so teams wanting Dame will be making offers and his buddies will be telling Dame to ask out.
This was probably the best case scenario that is a little uncomfortable. The Blazers have started their rebuild nicely. Sharpe and those picks this year are a great start to a rebuild.

A trade for any one injury prone player wasn't helping dame. A bad over pay trade worried me.
Portland tried and no one wants to give their best player for a draft pick! They tried!!!!! They will be good team…remember they tanked on purpose! The Blazer were just unlucky they picked 3rd instead of second.

What do u want Portland to do? They tried and got no chasers. They drafted players to help them. So what do expect. You can't force team to trade especially when they know Portland want the trade more than you do? If they traded they would of got fleeced. Remember Portland is not the Wizards. Potential trade are CAM Johnson, Trey Murphy or OG. for Scoot and a player or so & 1st. rounder. All these teams want just trade for players not ever develop them? They came close to Victor but just short. Deal with it, coach and see what happens!
I hear a lot of complaints that we are doing an injustice to Damian Lillard by not committing to trading for win now peices. I don't think no one's doing no one injustice here. We just couldn't get enough trades together to be competitive, so we had to go the other route and I certainly hope they continue on this route of building the young guys roster Please don't keep Jeremy. Please trade Dame and get us some more pics and young talent. Please keep Anfernee Simons.
