  1. Us fans have high hopes for this new-look Nets and hope we can finally send a competitive team into the playoffs. Good luck!

  3. Welcome to Brooklyn . Go out there don't be no hero be yourself and make us proud . Let's go nets

  4. Noah Clownley is giving me a lot of Nic Claxton vibes. He might be bad in the next 2 years but by year 4 he is going to shocked us all if he follows the Nic Claxton routes.

  5. Way to go, Sean. Another solid draft, and we didn't even have to give up Royce or DFS. Both 1st rd picks not only show tons of untapped potential, but actually fill needs. Hopefully a year from now Whitehead will be our starting PG and Clowney our starting PF. Wilson is only a team captain, tourney MVP and league MVP from a prestigious program. Not bad for pick 51.

I think our roster is deep, though not star-studded. We still have a ton of assets we can deal, from players to draft picks. If Dame becomes available I think we've got what it takes to get him. DFS, Royce, Spence, Cam Thomas, Mills, Sumner, and a ton of future 1sts. Would probably wind up a 3 or 4 team deal.

At the moment we're looking at a lineup of Simmons, Bridges, CJ, DFS and Clax, with a 2nd string of Spence, Royce, Harris, Clowney and Sharpe. the bench is Mills, Cam T., Sumner, Duke and Wilson. Whitehead will be redshirted, possibly playing in LI late in the season. Raiquan and Dru as 2-ways.

I've been calling for us to sign Thomas Bryant since before KD/Kyrie, and he's still only 26. He's 6'10", 250. For his career he's 60/37/76 splits, and he gets to the line a fair amount so his TS% is 66%. His WS/48 is .168 and his ORtgn/Drtgn is 128/113. Per 36 minutes he's averaging 18.5 pts and 10.5 rebounds. He crashes the boards, but also can shoot from deep and score down low. We could easily fit him our MLE.

Simmons/Bridges/CJ/Bryant/Clax with DFS, Royce, Spence Harris, Mills, Clowney and Wilson off the bench. I will not be unhappy watching that team.
