We pretty much got the best rim/protector (other than Wemby) and the best ISO defender in the entire draft .

He just never gambles on blocks, always just makes the shooter shoot over his length.

I watched some of his footage and this dude just has that dawg in him. He gives 100% every single defensive possession. Not only that but he doesn’t jump on pump fakes; he forces his opponent to take a jumpshot over him with his long wing-span. He’s not just a tenacious defender but a smart defender.
Insane, so happy we prioritized defense
Took me a while to get on the OMax hype train, but last week I jumped and I still have no fear to say: this kid is a top-3 defender in the draft and his potential is All-Defense. Getting him at 24 was a huge steal.
His defense doesn’t look crazy because of how he uses his arms but it reminds me a lot of tony allen honestly. He is like ALWAYS in front of guys and doesnt reach but keeps his hands up. Sometimes he gets caught back peddling but that forces contested jumpers which at the very least is a tough shot as opposed to a free layup.
They got 2 of the best defenders in the draft ,one a rim protecting center and a wing.
If both of their 3 point games come around it’s a home run
Those numbers don’t even seem possible. Guy has to be the best defender by a good margin in this draft.
