Dallas Mavericks UDFA Tracker: Mavs Sign Mike Miles Jr. & Jordan ‘Jelly’ Walker | Latest Mavs Rumors



After a successful night at the 2023 NBA Draft, Mavericks GM Nico Harrison and Mark Cuban were not done! In addition to drafting Dereck Lively II and Olivier-Maxence Prosper along with the Richaun Holmes trade, the Mavericks also signed Mike Miles Jr. out of TCU and Jordan “Jelly” Walker to UDFA contracts. Miles was signed to a two-way contract, while Walker was signed to a non-guaranteed deal for the NBA Summer League. Both Miles and Walker were accomplished NCAA basketball players and could push to make the Mavericks’ opening night roster.

    OMAX! This dudes ceiling is high, llike Pascal Siakam with more defense. Wow. Love love love Mike Miles JR as our coveted third ball handler. All three guys can play day one based on their skills. Luka can start new chemistry with the new class of mavs rooks. And Holes ain’t bad for essentially a Bertans swap.

    Hmmm… signing one small scoring guard to a 2-way is ok… but why 2? I wouldve liked a wing talent…

    Nico Harrison hit it out the park last night. And all the UDFA I like. I just wish Holmes can be healty enough to play good minutes @playoffs. At last we need a mid-range assassin like Derozan bec. I dont want teams figure us out. That offense has to be fluid like in 2011 i mean a lots 3s but lots of passes, cutters and defense.
