This is sad. Don’t y’all think he wanted to stay in the bay? I figured it was like his home by now

….. Naaaah.

Nah I’m good with trading him away. He’s not a winning player and we’re trying to win right now

It’s bittersweet but you’ve gotta understand mans regressed hard.
Put zero effort on defense.
Turnover machine.
Shot chucking machine.
Poor attitude when benched.
Re-watch the Lakers series and tell me you want him back next season.

Absolutely not. This year was miserable to watch.

I wanted him to be the next face of the franchise and Steph’s successor, but he seemed to be too cocky and a negative player and made it hard to root for him towards the end

You haven’t been reading. Warrior fans all over Reddit having fun hating on him

Absolutely – there is a lot to remember:
1. He really contributed to us winning the championship last year – those are facts that can never be taken away esp. in the early rounds.
2. There are so many on the team who truly love him. And those people are quality people. He is loved by Wiggins who is closer to JP than to any of his teammates. He is also beloved by Looney who calls him his little brother.
4. DDV said he would love to always play with him. I also noticed JP was extremely generous with the rookies and with some of the 2 ways in the past.
5. He spoke up fondly about and for Wiseman when he was traded.
6. The team never really found a way to unblemish the reputation damage caused with the punch. Jordan was the one who just put his head down and kept playing. It sucks that he has to carry all that chatter about him for the rest of his career.
7. However, you feel about his play this year, he played all 82 games.
I hope our team is great this year and going forward. And I hope JP becomes an all star if he can.

I hear you. I don’t get the hate. He did a lot of good things, esp. when Curry was out.
I also remember his insane stans trying to gaslight us. Good riddance!

He had plenty of good moments, but he proved his decision making wasn’t where it needed to be. Good luck in the future, but CP will be way better if he can stay healthy.

If only he had given a little back to Draymond during the scuffle they may have grown an even stronger bond. Instead, it was shattered

Nah, he can fuck off. He turned toxic last year. Yes, Dray punched him and messed up. But he was already trash talking Steph & Klay in the summer camp. Look at his face when Steph & Klay were making shots in 3 pt shooting contest in Japan.
If he backed up his trash talk with his performance, and took another leap, Dray would be getting traded instead of him.
