  1. Random…but Poole, Young and Murray wouldve been interesting. It wouldn't have worked…but interesting

  2. This will work because it allows Steph and Klay to come off screens and if that’s not open then Paul can hit his midrange shots. Makes sense to me

  3. Old and small ball to the extreme HAAAAAAAA can’t wait to see them wheel out almost a whole team of 6.5ft or less and plus 34 years. WTF 🤣

  4. This move is to save money long term. Unlike Poole with 4 yrs left, CP3 has 1 yr left. That’s why they made the move. GSW is giving up on the future. They will try to contend for the next 1-2 yrs before Steph gets past his prime. Then they will start the rebuild (aka owner making money with a minimal payroll).

GSW fans are gullible. They actually think this is about basketball. It’s about Lacob and his sons making money beyond Steph. That’s why Myers left, because he doesn’t want to go thru the dry time. Kerr will follow in 1-2 yrs. Dunlevy was hired to be the scapegoat.

  5. I don’t get why it would be a problem. This is a Steve Kerr problem to implement CP3 play style when he is on the court. Warriors are trying to make the bench consistent and end game consistency down the stretch. Health is key here.

  6. Someone please explain to me why Draymond crosses the line with two players and it's them getting moved instead of Mr. Triple Single?

  7. He still has starter level skills but he doesn’t have starter level health. He’ll be killer as a backup pg to run the second team

  8. CP3 you made more than enough money you got State farm commercials you got eighteen years under your belt in the NBA retire and get a job with a microphone in your hand like everybody else is doing 😂

  9. Warriors Draft a 6'5 guy instead of a big man and then Add cp3. They don't have a single player over 6'9

  10. I doubt he'll come off the bench (if the Warriors even keep him) Kerr loves his small ball. Move Curry to SG and Draymond at the 5.

    CP3
    SC30
    KT
    AW
    DG

  11. I think CP3 in pick-and-rolls with Kuminga, Wiggins, or even Draymond could be interesting, but other than that, he's going to have to handle the ball while the other players "run their routes" basically, and go for the score if the shot clock winds down.

  12. I wouldve preferred to see cp3 in Boston, Philly, Milwaukee, Miami, or in the west, New Orleans

  13. I think CP3 is coming off the bench and helping the young guys while starters rest

  14. Cant start cp3 at the 3 so the question is would you rather have klay at 2 or Chris Paul I’ll take klay

  15. Either Paul comes off the bench or Klay comes off the bench. Or you switch it up and try to squeeze what's left of both players.

Either way, this moves gives the Warriors some options. Paul is smart and knows what coming to Golden State means.

If Paul can play 60 games and average 20-25 minutes, it will work well for everyone.

That being said, Warriors need more help to combat bigger teams and still focus on getting Draymond back on the team.

  16. Steph might average 30 a game next year with even less ball handling responsibilities

  17. I don't mind him starting but they def need to spread the minutes between the Steph and CP3. CP3, Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Dray. I think they can make it work but CP3 should only be playing like 25 minutes a night for most games.

  18. Starting CP3 then you would have to move Klay to the 3. Atleast playing SG ‘s Klay could use his size. Klay at would SF after the injuries would get cooked. Draymond isn’t the same defensive player and can’t cover for the backcourt and wings.

  19. Anybody know who Their backup PG was last year? Exactly they needed a solid backup to Steph it doesn't help their size though but they were depending on divenchenso last year way too much bench was trash 🗑️

  20. I think getting CP3 was insurance if they cant resign Draymond… if Draymond leaves then theyll still have someone to run the offense.

  21. CP3 has played w Durant & book , as well as Harden. I think he can adjust lol

  22. I thought the same thing at first but it’s as simple as this: They’re pairing one of the greatest passers of all time with the greatest shooter of all time. CP is also injury prone so they don’t have to lean on him and can rest him for the playoffs. Getting rid of the Poole problem (selfish play, bad contract, and obvious chemistry issues 👊🏾) in the process. Brilliant move.

  23. All I know is the entire basketball universe (except me) has been wishing on a daily basis for CP3 to have yet another chance at a title surrounded by HOF'ers. So here you go. Be careful what you wish for.

  24. What's he supposed to say? He got traded, and now he's gotta try to fit in and contribute on team he been battling for years. The trade just happened, and the media wants the playbook, game plan, and minutes distribution immediately lol smh.

  25. I'm not seeing how it's odd. They needed to get Poole off the roster and get a guy who was a one year in order to get money off the books. So they did it, and got a little better. Period. How is this hard to understand? I love these guys but I'm not following on this one.
