cuban ain't smart enough to make that trade. Mavs sucked my whole life (50), don't expect them to change before league collapses. And why would Portland makes this trade? Why would anyone bail out the nets, especially after sh_t they did to lakers.

no it doesn't. Luka doesn't make the players around him better. He ball hogs and dumps off. Plus, he shows up under condition from offseason. Only one who could really work with him was bronson and bronson could make any wacky thing work he's like a chris paul type.
Townes was not that impressive either
Gobert is not an asset. The Twolves should be giving up the first in that trade.

As a wolves fan, Gobert is despised. Even still, your deal makes me cringe. Gobert is still a top 8 center. You saw that when Conley hot here. The is okay but overpaid and bertans is the worst contract in the league.
The Gobert trade, though nice in theory, might not work out as well for both teams as you would think. It would leave the T-Wolves weaker defensively for sure, they would benefit more from a really good defensive wing instead of THJ who is mostly a shooter a decent, although not very impactful defender. Bertans, who is a larger body, is even worse defensively and a much less versatile offensive threat than THJ. They are both hard workers though and they can definitely score under pressure, which is something the wolves really need.
The Mavericks would benefit from a real, big rim defender. However, Gobert isn't a great lob threat as he sometimes has trouble catching balls, especially in motion. If the Mavs play well, they move the ball a lot, which also isn't perfect with Gobert. His screens are insane though, which would help both Luka and Kyrie with easier lanes to the basket or open shots. I would prefer another center over Gobert, but apart from maybe Anthony Davis, there aren't much better defensive options in the NBA than him.

As a Nets fan. I'm against trading for Dame. I like Dame but the Nets need to focus on building around Bridges and the other young guys. Trading for Dame won't be enough to beat the top teams in the East.
