This is especially funny because most of us were furious even at the time. We had promised Faried we would pick him, but backed out as part of the Felton deal so Denver could draft him with the next pick. At the time Faried looked like the perfect player next to Aldridge so we were all pissed we still didn’t have a good player to pair with him.

I’m sure we all had those as kids, I felt the same about Sea Bass. Was either 8th grade or freshman year and was absolutely convinced he’d be the next stud coming out of highschool. Strangely hated the Webster pick tho. That was disappointingly accurate.
