  1. At the end of the day its gonna suck losing smart, but you really cant be mad at the trade. Got a big who can help score(which we needed), and multiple future picks.

  2. I am getting used to the Marcus Smart trade. But very disappointed the way he handled the draft. Staying at 25 and keeping Marcus Sasser made more sense than trading down to 38 and picking Jordan Walsh. Walsh’s lack of talent is troubling.

  3. Heart and soul. What does that even mean? Does Denver Nuggets have a heart and soul guy? A glue guy? They are each humble and selfless, and make the right plays. Marcus doesn’t do that. Get over the whole heart and soul narrative. It’s not relevant to winning a championship. Same with Draymond Green being a glue guy or emotional leader of the Warriors. Just look at Denver. You don’t need a puncher, chest stomper, screamer, and dirty player to be a playmaker and make other teammates better.

  4. maybe it’s just me but i still see brogdon and all those 2nd round picks going somewhere lmao

  5. Brad is wild! What a good GM even though he likes Marcus, knows he's great,,wants him there. Still pulls the trigger does what's best for the team.
    Also, he's sending a message
Do your job or you're gone – That's the Boston Motto

  6. Common sense tells us that it was better to get something for Smart.

I won't miss the "hail Mary" 3s or flopville.

I will miss the hustle and D.

  7. GREAT interview, love the tough questions. Wish Bill would be like atleast 25 percent of this lol he holds everything close to him and as a fan that sucks

  8. Brad is a really really smart guy. He has the perfect answer to every question on the fly.

  9. Chris – you are really good at this btw. You asked all the questions I wanted to hear.

  10. Tatum needs to come back tough! Stop trying to be everyone’s friend man like this dude is the softest kid I ever seen

  11. Brad traded Marcus Smart in a heartbeat to beat the deadline for Kristap😂Only Forsberg is butthurt lol

  12. Brad did what Belechick would do. Better to trade someone a year too early than to trade them a year too late.

  13. Chris you've been on this Newport bandwagon forever. forever. only insiders get it. you should do a report about it, give us some history. 🙂

  14. 22.5 million a year for Brogdon and "I feel bad for him" from Brad. This is a business. Brogdon left the Bucks, he was traded by Indiana. So I'm sure he is a professional and knows what's up.

  15. Still can't see why they did this. If people thought they were soft last year then they're gonna be pushovers this year, especially on defense. If no defence is played anymore in the league then why out of the 5 games in the finals did both teams score over 100 only once with the rest of the games having the heat get held to under 100 and 90 in the last game. Defense wins championships and we just got rid of the best defender we had for someone who played 5 regular season games more and is injury prone like timelord and Al lol. To top it off Joe annoyed Grant by not playing him making it a high possibility he leaves/gets traded which is 2nd or 3rd best defender who wanted to bring intensity and defence.

  16. Unintentionally brad admits that tatum and brown are different. See it's ok for your stars to be different, but it's down to the coaching staff to make them gel. Even if Joe looks tough and has those 1 line salty responses to the media. I think he is soft to both jays, just not to piss them off.
