    Good Article.

Paul George is the perfect fit for this team and fits into our current roster and philisophy that Thibs wants to run. I think ultimately when it comes down to PG for me would be is hee willing to sign an extension. PG is essenially a rental and without a long term committment from him it would be a hard pass. If he would extend what kind of extension would be ideal would we want PG on a 3yr Max extension? These are all things we would have to consider.

I prob like the idea of KAT more than what I should but I think we would have to make some additional moves outside of trading for KAT like investing in more defensive wings because there is no way you ould have an Obi and KAT frontcourt

Why do people love the idea of an injury prone guy in his 30s who is going to be incredibly expensive and who will be due a massive contract to keep him? I can’t figure out why the main target isn’t OG Anunoby. I know Toronto will want a lot for him but he’s a great shooter and a top defender which is what we need. And we could give him a solid extension in the 4/110 range that would guarantee he stays a Knick.

No. I want Lillard or Doncic on the Knicks soon. As long as we get rid of Julius Randle and/or RJ Barrett we should be good to go. RJ can’t hit a three to save his life and Julius Randle is at his worst in the fourth quarter.

I like Donte coming over, he won a college title with Brunson and Hart. 3/4 of the Villanova Quartet this year and perhaps in 2024 we can goad Mikal Bridges and finish the set.

Pass on the George deal though, too much draft capital even if he miraculously stays healthy all year and the playoffs.

Didn’t really write about “why” he’d be a great acquisition. Just about what it would take and his potential for injury.

Id say he’s a good defender and a premier scorer when healthy. This move would help mask Brunsons defensive shortcomings with two defensive wings in George and Grimes. Giving up RJ stings and Id rather give up Randle but RJs ceiling is not PGs level and we have to strike now before jalens max contract comes a knocking.

Either of them on our team is a no-brainer. It depends on availability. If the clippers fall on their face next season, he can be ours. I think Vincenzo stays with Golden State.
