I really think Blake Wesley can clean up some of the turnovers and evolve into a PG that the team needs. Then Tre can just come off the bench then… just my thoughts.

I was so disappointed we didn’t trade back into the first round. Obviously, victor was the prize and an amazing get, but we should have done whatever it takes to get someone else to grow with him from day one.
So I'm not sold on Brian yet. I think he's been extremely lucky. He didn't get 4 picks for D Murray because he's crafty. He was traded on June 29th and just a few days before that the hornets traded Kemba Walker for 1 first and 4 second round picks. John Wall had a similar large trade as well. The market just was high on players like that and the Spurs did not want to give Murray a max contact. So he ended up fleecing the Hawks but I think that was accidental. All the other pets that we acquired through last year for all because we were dropping big contracts and trying to tank.
Now we got Victor but that was not because of Brian at all. That was sheer luck. The moment that he could really show his GM skills and try to finagle his way into a lottery pick he couldn't do it… Then he trades down which makes it look like they didn't do any research beyond the first pick.
Spurs should have traded back in for lively. Let wemby play the 4.

We potentially have six 1sts in the next two yrs. Around 10 overall in the same time. Its best to wait cause 4 yrs from now extending wemby will be top priority. Having another top pick might make it difficult of we have to pay 2 superstars. At least this way, summer 2027, wemby will be the only focus
