Big news Kai Sotto. AAA+. Black and Sotto gives playmaking and rim protection, respectively. Add that to Wagner, Banchero, and Bol, what a core.
This front office sucks at drafting . You hit the nail on the head on the 2nd round picks. We could of landed Omani Bates , Jordan willer or Isaiah Wong. Guys you could of developed. A team loaded with Guards and useless players . Franz and Banchero great players. Rest of the team is just a junk drawer of players

Miami has to do what they do with the undrafted and 2nd round picks because they always have so much money invested in 3 or 4 of their top players. Another thing is the fans always think that their vision for the squad is the same as the FO. If you are not conferring with the FO how do you know what their needs are? Who was it who said of Gradey, if he is your guy, you pick him at 6 no matter what the mocks say? Why is this not applicable to Jett?

AB is literally 6’7 an can guard people day 1 PG-PF…not everyone’s disappointed. I’m excited he’s gnna FORCE the other you going to get better. Fultz contract isn’t long term an he’s awesome but can play 1 or 2. Suggs hasn’t developed much. Jett is an elite shooter an will get better. This is a great position we are in with versatility an upside.

But…Ausar Thompson is ALSO a guard who can't shoot. Anthony Black was my guy at #6 but I never thought they would do it. So happy they proved me wrong. He is going to be our facilitator and distributor. Elite floor vision and passing.
We didn’t draft Franz Vazquez, so I’m good. Would’ve liked to trade back for Jet, but all good at the end of the day.

Also…just because all pundits didn't have Jett at 11 on their mocks, it doesn't mean that's where teams (that actually know all the players) have him. This draft upsets me but for different reasons. We wouldn’t even be drafting another guard if we had taken Tyrese Maxey and not Cole Anthony back in the day. I don’t understand why more people don’t talk about this whiff Maxey turned into a beast and now we’re about to let Cole go for a bag of chips freaking Magic man smh 🤦
