Sad to see Beal to go out like this, but it was inevitable

The tribute video they posted actually made me sad..Beal had some good years with us. It’s unfortunate that Tommy giving this man the Supermax and a NTC has made most fans forget about the good moments.

Really curious as to what the reception will be for him from the fans when he comes back to DC with the Suns…this fanbase never really had the same amount of love for him like the did with Wall. Almost viewed him as an employee that just clocked in and clocked out.

It’s so unfortunate that Ted/EG/Tommy’s decisions turned what should be a celebrated player into one that a lot of the fanbase cannot stand. Fantastic player for a long time here who the org failed to build around.

We move to the Coulibaly era.

Sad how it ended but right decision to move on, I genuinely hope he has some success on Phoenix if nothing else it’s rare to see a play spend this much time with one team especially one with as little direction as the wizards

Comments on the post are nasty. I hope Beal knows there are people in the DMV that appreciate him for his time playing for the Wizards and what he’s done for DC.

Brad after getting a quarter of a billion, dividing the fanbase, proving what most people knew, that he was always better as a Robin, causing COVID controversy by saying he thought it might affect his shooting to get the Vax, then proceeded to shoot the ball the worst in his career un-vaxxed, missing multiple stretches of games because he kept contracting it, conspiracy theorist wife getting into it with fans, and causing us to delay a rebuild because of an overly optimistic front office.

I will always cherish the good times despite the fact that the end of his time here was unbearable as fans wanting to move on, while watching other franchises know when to end it, and are in better position to build, while we spent 4 years on a Beal+X+Y= success.
