  1. Pelicans show moves to virginia beach washington wizards should just move to seattle they already name is washington

  2. Team should move. That market and basketball is a mess. Now cue the haters replies lol

  3. KC or St Louis will get NBA before Louisville or Virginia. Those markets are just too small.

  4. n o pelicans headed to kc. maybe bettman will move nhl into n o after pelicans move since he loves failing markets destined to fail in the southern regions.

  5. The owner Gayle Benson not moving!!! She said so Depressed Ginger keep quite!! She said after Cearsars Superdome $500 renovation million then they will address the renovation or build new!! So calm down Depressed Ginger New Orleans Pelicans not going anywhere and Smoothie King Center not that bad so calm down its only an arena not the end of the world! Smoothie King Center is well taken care for and like i said The owner said they ain't going nowhere!!! It's up to the owner so there you have it! NEW Orleans is staying put !!! Gayle Benson loves New Orleans and the Pelicans !!!

  6. so the count is-nhl az. needs a new arena or moves. possible cities-slc, hartford. nba-n o needs a new arena or else. possible cities-louisville, kc, lv, st. l, seattle. mlb-a's need a new stadium or are moving to lv. rays need a new stadium or else. brewers and d backs have been threatened with stadium upgrades or else. Possible cities-nashville, charlotte, slc, portland, montreal, austin.

  7. Typed in in the google machine and no news on this so you sir are full of it

  8. What is that makes a venue considered "obsolete" by any league's standard? Regardless, if they were to build a new arena, 25 years later, they're going to say it's outdated.

  9. The nba want the pelicans to relocate they don't give a damn about the pelicans as long as it remains in new Orleans

  10. Move them to Vancouver CANADA.. until they built a new arena

  11. it just doesnt make sense to keep the pelicans in new orleans even if they get the money pooled together due to the insane insurance costs, the declining population and the increase in poverty. it is one of the worst cities in the usa to live in and also more or less is dependent on tourism. 1 bad hurricane can spell doom for the economy and their tourism cash that they bring in. it is not a smart place to invest 1 billion into. plus louisiana is a football town. basketball probably doesnt even beat out baseball in that state either.

i think an austin relocation is best mainly due to the proximity in the division plus they need a team there badly.

i really like lousiville a lot but unless they can delay the move until seattle and vegas get beought in simultaneously, then a move to austin seems like the quicker and easier solution to keep the southwest division intact.

if they do move to austin and we get vegas and seattle in 2025 or 2026, then the nba can just relocate minnesota into the eastern conference.

  12. Even with the renovations, I’m not sure the Super Dome will be an NFL-caliber stadium by the middle 2030s. I know it’s historical, but it’s limited in what can be done with it. Some investment group should come in, demolish both venues and build a new sports complex.

  13. New Orleans to Montréal the most sense. Then you have Vancouver in Canada and Calgary for expansion. Only question would be is would the NBA want to do with expansion the same time as the pelicans relocation or beforehand. If the Pelicans have to move it would be to Montréal, Québéc Canada which have Place Bell Centre that would be converted into a NBA size stadium where the Pelicans and the NBA would have a Canadian rivalry with the Toronto Raptors in the NBA

  14. This video is misleading. They are studying options for a possible new arena in the future on the riverfront. Finishing the super dome renovation first then turning attention to the Pelicans arena situation

  15. See absolutely no issue with the “small lower bowl” it doesn’t look small at all

  16. Vegas golden knights ticket revenue was $111 million for 2022 and NO Pelicans ticket revenue was $47 million.

  17. Again, the NBA never gave the Kings an ultimatum to build a new arena or the team was moving. I've been a season ticket holder for 11 years now and a die hard Kings fan. Where in the heck did you get your info about the NBA giving the Kings the ultimatum???

  18. Move them to San Diego since good ole Stan Kroenke is building a world class arena to attract the NHL and the NBA.

  19. The Enterprise Center up the Mississippi in St. Louis is move-in ready for the Pelicans, which could become the new Spirits of St. Louis — finally in the NBA! And i am an old ABA Spirits fan!

  20. I’ll just say the Pelicans Arena is by far the worst arena I’ve ever been to. I never went back. It was very hard to see the court action from the second story. Granted this was the second year they moved to New Orleans and maybe changes have been made, but it was a downright awful fan experience.

Gayle is too much of a tightwad to invest on her own and the city’s horrible leadership has bankrupted itself long ago and is still digging the hole deeper. I doubt the city puts much money on the table. I miss Tom Benson.

  21. #1 pick hasn't played a full season since he got drafted and now their getting threatened because of the shit hole they play in. the pelicans truly are THE poverty franchise

  22. You’re so biased Ginger and eager to downplay New Orleans. They’re currently doing feasibility studies and looking at possibly constructing a new arena. Renovations is an option on the table. I’m confident Gail Benson and the city will find a suitable solution.

  23. I don’t see the Pelicans leaving NOLA. They will do whatever they have to do to stay put.

  24. Hopefully, they are going to get it together; they said that they were going to renovate the superdome first and then the Smoothie King. They are already aware of what they need to renovate in order to meet NBA standards abs they still choose renovation; so apparently the renovations do meet the standards

  25. Okay, to appease everyone, just expand the league to 50 teams and be done with it.

    Eastern Conference:

Southeast: Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Virginia Beach, Nashville
South: Birmingham, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville
Great Lakes: Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville
Northeast: New York, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore
North: Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Buffalo

    Western Conference:

Midwest: Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Kansas City, Indianapolis
South-Central: Memphis, New Orleans, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston
Central: Omaha, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Denver, Minneapolis
Southwest: San Diego, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix, Salt Lake City
Northwest: Golden State, Sacramento, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle

  26. If the Pelicans were to relocate I would probably look at Nashville as a potential city! Nashville already has Bridgestone Arena the only question is that would the Predators share their arena with a NBA team should the Pelicans relocate to Nashville! 😊

  27. … you're a clown first and foremost…this video was and is completely about clicks …ppl if you want to read the real story written by Christian Clark google and don't give this loser the attention he wants…David Stern took over ownership of the HORNETS/PELICANS to insure that the team remained in New Orleans…the NBA wants teams in the south and what better place than New Orleans? Just because YOU don't New Orleans doesn't mean the NBA wants them moved

  28. If they are somehow “forced” to relocate, they could come here to Phoenix. We can always use an NBA team to go along with the 2 WNBA teams.
