Not gonna lie, I'm still a little disappointed that they didn't give Amari a shot at 33, trading 33# for 2 future picks to accumulate assets is not bad business-wise, but getting a potential future PG is much more beneficial Imo. I do think Amari is an outstanding talent in the 2nd, if Tre Jones, a player who has less potential can exceed his ceiling with us, they could make Amari a beast. Don't forget Amari was a 6'5 big combo 5-star recruit that only turned 19 recently😮💨
Whoever wrote this is way off. He’s very assertive and very confident he crashes the board. He can go end to end and score the rim and defend pretty well. He’s not going to the G league. He’s gonna make the roster.
Sochan, Wemby and Cissoko immediately improves the overall defense. Rich, if he goes to the G-League he won't be there long. I wouldn't mind him starting at point guard because the kid is veey athletic, a playmaker and a darn good defender!
