I was hard on Bufkin when we drafted him. Realistically, he was 18 on my board, so we certainly could have done worse. Just don’t feel like his ceiling is as high as some other guys that were available. Good player, though, and very young.

Perfect draft selection. Now the hawks will look to trade Trae and DJ, spend the next 6 years rebuilding, and hope to plateau as a 5th seed for 2 years before attempting another rebuild. -espn, probably
