Encouraging sign he’d be willing to do this. You can tell he wants to get something done with us soon.
What is Leon cooking? This could mean we’re working on a trade
Interesting.
What are the advantages and disadvantages to doing this type of extension?
Besides Leon having something else on the burner…
can someone explain to me what could occur to make this a move worth making? clearly someone cooking something but i don’t get the cap stuff enough to know what
“Hey, let us sign Donte and we’ll give you a more lucrative guarantee on your final year if you opt in.”
Where the armchair capologist’s to tell me how to feel???
Donte Divincenzo welcome to the Knicks
This makes me think that a trade is coming this week. One or more of Obi, RJ, and Quick will be gone.
Basically the Knicks can give him an increase of 40% in salary for the 2024-25 season. This would make his max extension ~81/4 years. So instead of starting at a higher salary next season, they can give him a big deal but have him be at 12.9 in 2023-24 which allows them to use the MLE.
I don’t normally do this but u/FVV_Lebron_AD_18 needs to be ban here and he’s not even a Knicks fan.
We need to know what to make of this, WHERE’S JA!???? I Mean, WHERE’S JEREMY?
Why wait till thursday? Just fucking do it
Wait I thought Hart already opted out?
Bravo 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽!
Im happy we got this done Hart’s the heart of this team.
Pun intended. I love the fact that we got guys that want to be here .
