It has been reported that the Blazers prefer to keep the third overall pick unless they’re ‘blown away’ by a trade offer for the pick. They have brought in Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, and the Thompson twins for predraft workouts. Mike Schmitz, the former ESPN draft analyst, as well as a member of Portland’s front office is known to be very fond of Scoot Henderson. That pick would more signal a Dame trade and rebuild. However, Portland’s star player, is knowingly opposed to the team rebuilding on the fly and gathering young talent because he wants to win now. It is not believed that he would necessarily demand a trade if they used the pick at three, but it is seemingly true that he is very opposed to it. It’s currently being reported that Damian Lillard likes the idea of Zion Williamson joining the Portland Trail Blazers. It’s also being reported that the Blazers prefer to land Zion from the Pelicans rather than their other all-star wing Brandon Ingram. According to Yahoo Sports, the Blazers are also preparing to make a significant offer to the Miami Heat for Bam Adebayo. They’re being torn in two directions. Let me know your thoughts!!!

@bigherm24 the problem with portland is its not gonna be simons and 3rd for zion. they gonna want the 24th pick likely and sharpe.
the other problem is if scoot is not there at 3, then the trade is off for pelicans as they have no interest in miller or anyone else for zion or ingram. thats the realith
the other issue is zion and ingram are not durable and very injury prone so if they get hurt there goes your contention window with dame.
also zion wont stay in portland after his contract is up in 4 years, he only wants 1 destination and thats new york and he is out of portland once his contract is up there.
