  1. Tell me how the laker had a better draft then the warriors when warriors got a dawg shooter and a big dog scorer and blocker in Jackson Davis like what

  2. Thunder didn’t necessarily poop their pants. But they left some skid marks.

Sometimes presti looks like a genius. other times he looks like he just outsmarts himself. And occasionally I wonder if he even has a sack.

For every 1 good draft pick he makes he follows it up by making 2-3 bad ones.

I just don’t know when this guy is even gonna fully commit to winning.

Are you trying to collect picks or win.

I honestly don’t understand the trade with Dallas. You took on money that you could have used in free agency for a win now player so that you can draft a guy that would have been there at 12 who isn’t even that high upside and fit wise isnt even that great.

If anything you should have taken the guy that Dallas took in lively. Good character kid who can play 5 so Chet can play 4.

You could have taken a big swing on cam Whitmore. That team would be super fun with 2 all star upside guards and Jalen with cam to attack the rim. That was an oof.

Idk I just don’t get this guy sometimes. You got 15 picks in the pipeline. You ever gonna cash them in. You ever gonna get an all star. You ever gonna move up in the draft to get that one guy to complete the process or you gonna just wait on your own picks to tank.

Go get scoot. Go trade for dame. Do something. If you stay put at least draft higher upside or better fit.

He ain’t doing bad but I think he’s squandering a valuable window by being too passive. You losing Shais most valuable years at a time when you’re other guys are on their rookie deals. That’s when you gotta spend your money and parlay your picks into a contending piece or 2. Especially now before the cpa kicks in. After that it’s hard to get talent over the cap.

Drafting every year seems good in principle. But under the micro scope it doesn’t work because 15 man rotations don’t win championships.

And if you play everyone then you’re actually not properly developing everyone because kids need a lot of mins and important roles / big shots to grow.

Your partially developing everyone because of your lust for draft picks and frugality with the salary cap anf all you’re going long term is outsmarting yourself because soon though if you’re trying to win you need to go all in on a 8-9 man rotation for the playoffs.

The funny thing is that he could trade for a superstar or move up in the draft and still have more picks than anyone else x 2 and he won’t do it.

Guy has the longest leash for a gm ive ever seen. Even more than the old Philly GM

  3. Besides the spurts obviously I gotta say the rockets and Dallas won Maybe the hornets too cause Nick smith low key a top 5-8 talent

  4. portland is the biggest winner imo, scoot and murray we’re great picks the defense from murray would be nice and they got rup which i think was a amazing steal.

  5. Raptors definititely the best value at each pick. Great height for his position. Best shooter in the class. Athletic enough to make plays on the boards and on the defensive side. Dick also fits into that oversized lineup nick nurse ran as a 6'8" sg. Nurse is gone but maybe they still run that lineup. They neeed a Point guard(i think theyre planning to be the pg of the future maybe cuz they could have gotten a Point guard this draft class). Grady dick at SG. OG at the 3. And then Siakam at the 5. Now go get yourself an defensive anchor center but also if they could shoot/or be a somewhat dominant threat inside that would be elite for them.

  6. you obviously did not watch jordan walsh play. he is a tenacious defender and a mobile wing that can guard multiple positions. thats all brad wanted in this draft,

  7. I get the urge to give grades before they’ve ever played, but in reality who knows- so I think all the grading stuff is a bit overblown. Need examples? Go look where Jokic, giannis, jimmy butler and kahwi were drafted to name a few. The draft is won years later.

  8. Minnesota and Milwaukee clearly had similar drafts..
Yet you give one an A- and the other a B while showing clear distaste for the trade of last year which clearly influenced your grades.
Guess this is a channel I can see cannot be objective and can take off the list to watch. Thanks for making that obvious in back to back teams.

  9. Tom you need to reconsider your grade for the Minnesota Timberwolves. You glossed over the picks barely even mentioning the players and gave the Wolves a B. First of all getting pick 33 barely out of the first round for giving up a 2nd round pick in 26 and 28. That's 3 and 5 years later. That's great value. The player the Wolves acquired with pick 33 was considered a lottery talent by some and a first round talent by virtually everybody. See the comment by Spurs fan Grant Robinson for them giving away a lottery talent to the Wolves. To top it off they picked up the college Defensive Player of the Year at pick 53 Jaylen Clark. That is an absolute A draft.

  10. Denver picked smart, mature players who know how to shoot and move without the ball. They will fit great with the Nuggets as long a Jokic is there.
