Lets be honest, whose better Cam or Jarace? Honestly, Cam wouldve been taking some of Mathurin starting minutes as he can play 30+ minutes if needed so theres no point in Cam. I feel the nuggets 1st round pick of '24 is offered in trade this upcoming free agency along with a player.
I didn't like the trades down with the lower picks, either. They should have consolidated those picks for a higher pick, not trade way down into the second round and even sold one pick to the Lakers. Those picks could have been consolidated into a higher pick to get Cam Whitmore. I don't know exactly what the real concerns about Whitmore regarding interviews and medical issues were, so it's tough to gauge exactly how bad these moves were, but nevertheless I would have preferred trading up to the mid to late teens to get him unless this guy has some sort of major neurodegenerative disease that will prevent him from playing in a few years from now.
I understand why we wanted to space all those picks out & move some of em back so they would be considered 2 way deals but what PISSED me off was the fact we acted like all our roster spots were solidified in stone. Idgaf about anyone's spot outside of Haliburton & Mathurin to be honest. We were ASS last season with most of these guys & we're basically telling them their roster spot is safe? Why not draft guys & have em compete for that spot? Cause we don't wanna eat the money by letting 1 of em go for a rookie? Cam Whitmore was the guy who couldn't make it through some teams workouts cause he was exhausted & got caught hittin the Vape in the locker room so I'm good on not drafting him but idgaf we got money that CAN'T be added to the cap from LA. All that did was make rich ass Herb Simon even more rich…it doesn't help the team in any way whatsoever so people need to STFU bout the money LA gave Herb, NOT the Pacers! Fans were seriously tryin to argue with me by sayin we are about to sign a big name FA after that & I wanted to kill their dumbasses. And the Denver deal was the definition of counterproductive & makin a deal just to make a deal cuz it literally did jack shit but help them get better. It was essentially a draft pick loan till next year but with NO interest fee's for them! We basically thought we could wheel & deal picks & hustle teams but ended up being the ones hustled 😂😂😂 Luckily the damage wasn't too bad & can be fixed
i really like your coverage but im done with this team. when they didnt take sharpe i was pissed, but the fact they didnt tank for a really loaded draft, I cant even watch it anymore. its obvs an ownership issue.
Pacers always get screwed during draft days Kawhi Leonard where he went to the Champion contender😂 Championship teams look for these small market teams easy to scam
We actually dodged a bullet with this one guys. Shephard is everything Whitmore isn't. I remember similar complaining about taking Nembhard when Hardy was on the board last year. Idc how talented a guy is or how high his ceiling is, if bro can't make it thru workouts without taking a smoke break I don't want him anywhere near my locker room, unless his name is Vlade.
Yeah, the Pacers fumbled, could’ve had all of their draft picks the night of the draft and been prepared in case a Cam Whitmore type situation occurred. They could’ve had a better chance of taking advantage of it with more ammunition to move up.

Yeah but it's looking in a rear view mirror. Like you said, everyone expected Cam to be gone by that point.
They should of worked hard to get him then ? Like come on go get em
Pritchard is just idiotic
I am concerned about our scouting department now. If they thought Cam was top 5, these guys must be smoking something.
You are 100 percents correct. I felt the same way. Donnie Walsh would have waited to the last mins to trade it away
I agree with you. Then we get two picks back. Dumb.

I was sitting there like please fall to 26 but knew someone would take him
I'm mad at the facts though…
I know its unlikely at this point, but if the Pacers wanna be taken serious we need to fire Kevin Pritchard, I’m tired with these average ass trades
somebody said Cam kept taking breaks during workout so he could go vape outside.
100 percent!

Great to have you back. I just signed in to Youtube today. Please keep speaking the truth.

i wouldnt have took cam either way.
The Pacers better be on their mofo game once free agency opens up real talk
Cam wouldn’t be there at 26. Word has come out that the Nets would have taken him.
Steal of the trade is going to be Isaiah Wong. Very,Very,Very underrated player.
26, 29, and 32. He went at 20. Go get him and don't make dumb trades

Lmao 🚀🚀🚀 let’s go I couldn’t believe he fell to us he got competition but he could end up a starter by the end of the year
