Jordan Poole’s on/off numbers

I took a screenshot from Hoop Reports new YouTube video regarding the Chris Paul trade. These numbers from Basketball Reference confirms the eye test.

Warriors were a better offensive team with Poole off the floor and Poole played all 82 games this season so this isn’t some selective statistics.

Best thing about trading Poole is not having any more posts about Poole. That said I like this post. Lol. Heā€™s super young but his cockiness always got me. It seems like he thinks heā€™s on a level heā€™s just not on.

I think trading him was the right choice, especially given his contract, attitude, and relation with Dray. But this stat is a little misleading since him and Curry were often staggered in their minutes. I would imagine anyone on the bench had a much lower offensive rating than the starters

I’m just excited to see who the losses get blamed on this season.

I hope he does well and make us go “WHY DID WE TRADE HIM!?!?!?” in Washington. Good luck Jordan.

Every poole party has to come to an end

    Yikes

For a player that’s supposed to be an offensive Firestarter to be a cooling influence instead… no can do

i for one, am completely shocked that a player who looked like shit on tape, and had terrible regular and advanced stats, would be detrimental to the team

It was just so frustrating watching him run the offense. So often, he wouldn’t let the offense set. He would start going hero mode as soon as the team fell behind.

On occasion, he would catch fire. But the defense was consistently bad.

Warriors were first in pace last year while they were 15th in pace the year before. You need time in a motion offense for people to freaking move. It was obviously not all Poole, but he sure as hell didn’t help.

The rebounding seems to be highlighted for some reason but he came off the bench a lot and Looney started. Everything we do on the glass goes with Loon.

    ORB% +5.9

    DRB% +2.1

Would it intrigue you to know that we were a slightly better defensive team (defensive rating) with Poole on the floor than off?
