It’s somewhat surprising to me that Lebron’s Nike deal 20 years ago is still the highest for a rookie (given how much NBA contracts via media rights deals have increased since) – but if this rumor is true, Victor’s will finally outearn that. (seems 7 years is standard for a Nike rookie contract)
