Not a single one of these trades make the bulls better. I would rather have Williams than anyone in these requests.

If we traded Lonzo, PWill and a first for Kelly fucking Olynyk I would stop watching basketball forever

Losing moves to save money…

The Pippenainteasy blog is an actual affront to the concept of free speech but we’re not getting value back for the right to pay a guy 40 million dollars to do absolutely nothing
The Morris deal is fine and seems like something AK would legit consider, others are beyond bad

None of that is worth it. If first in the Monte Morris one was significantly more protected, like at least top 10, then maybe that.

I know it sucks that he is hurt and it hurts our cap. But holy hell these deals are bad. Giving up possible lottery picks in a few years or PWill to get guys that at best are as good as PWill makes no sense.

Lonzo will never play pro basketball again. They need to waive and stretch.

Fuck all that in this article.
Personally, I feel Zo’s career is over (sorry my dude, I know how that must hurt).
And if that’s true or even the most likely outcome, there are two alternatives which could maybe benefit the Bulls.
One is by using the “stretch provision” which allows teams to waive a player and then spread that player’s cap hit over additional seasons and at a lesser annual value. This would allow cap relief sooner due to the stretched annual value being so much lower than it would be otherwise.
The other option is that Zo retires due to career-ending injury. He still gets paid but the Bulls get cap relief because he retires due to injury.
Zo probably won’t retire until every opportunity has been exhausted, but other than his magically being fully healthy again; his retirement due to injury would be the very best outcome for the Bulls.

These are absolute dog shit lmao not gonna give up Caruso for nothing and definitely not giving up PWill to get Lonzos contract off the books. Do they not realize Pat is one of our most important players and also our best young asset?
palamedes23
Zo will play in 2 years, stash him till then and let him have fun chasing the honeys in the Cali sun till September 2024.

Trading away assets just to trade your worst isn’t a good idea
